Private Sessions

Online and In-Person Bookings

  • All new clients must fill in a health questionnaire (PARQ form) before the first session
  • Private sessions (in-person and online) have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy
  • Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full price of the session
  • Sessions can be booked as a single, 5-pack, or 10-pack. All sessions must be prepaid before your session
  • Packs expire after 3 months from purchase date
  • If you cancel outside the cancellation window, you will receive the session credit back and will not be charged
  • If the instructor has to cancel, you will be notified as soon as possible and the session will be rescheduled

Corporate Pilates

  • Corporate sessions are booked on a recurring or one-off basis and must be confirmed in advance
  • A strict 48-hour cancellation policy applies to all corporate bookings
  • Late cancellations will be charged the full session fee
  • All participants must complete a health questionnaire before their first session
  • Pricing is bespoke — please get in touch for a quote

On-Demand Workouts — Terms

  • On-demand workout subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the next billing date
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your current billing period
  • Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods
  • We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice
  • All content is for personal use only and may not be reproduced, shared, or redistributed

On-Demand Workouts — Disclaimer

The safety of our users is of utmost importance. Please read the following safety disclaimer before using any on-demand content. By accessing and using the workout library, you acknowledge and agree to the terms stated herein.

Not Suitable for Pregnancy, Injuries, and Medical Conditions:

The exercises and activities demonstrated are not suitable for individuals who are:

  • Pregnant (1st, 2nd, or 3rd trimester)
  • Postnatal (0–12 weeks post birth)
  • Currently injured
  • Have a medical condition and have not been cleared for exercise by their doctor

It is important to consult with a qualified healthcare professional before engaging in any exercise or fitness programme, especially if you fall into one of these categories.

Safe Environment:

It is essential to ensure that you have a safe environment when following any workouts. Choose a well-lit and uncluttered area with adequate space to perform the exercises safely. Ensure that the flooring is suitable for exercise and free of any hazards or slippery surfaces. Make sure there are no sharp objects or obstacles that could cause injury within your exercise area. Always use a Pilates mat to support you.

Personal Responsibility:

Your safety is your responsibility. It is important to listen to your body and exercise within your own limits. If at any point during the exercises you experience pain, discomfort, dizziness, or any other adverse symptoms, you should immediately stop and seek appropriate medical attention. Do not force any movements or exercises that cause pain or discomfort.

Individual Fitness and Health:

The exercises and activities vary in intensity and difficulty. It is crucial to assess your own fitness level and choose exercises that are appropriate for your capabilities. All content can be filtered by level and category. It is strongly suggested that you work at the level that is comfortable for you.

Follow Instructions:

Follow all instructions, guidelines, and recommendations provided by the instructor. Pay attention to proper form, technique, and breathing instructions to maximise the effectiveness of the exercises and minimise the risk of injury. If you are unsure about any aspect of an exercise, seek clarification before proceeding.

By participating in these workouts, you do so at your own risk. Pilates by Lena will not be held responsible or liable for any injury or loss you may suffer as a result of these workout videos. To the extent permitted at law, you release and hold the Instructor (and where applicable its directors, employees, and representatives) harmless from any liability, cost, expense, damages, or claims (including claims of negligence) arising from or which may be suffered or incurred in connection with your participation in any on-demand workouts provided by Pilates by Lena.

By continuing to use the on-demand workout library, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this safety disclaimer in its entirety. If you do not agree with any part of this disclaimer, please discontinue use.

Waiver

Please read the following terms carefully. By participating in any session online or in-person provided by Pilates by Lena (the Instructor) you consent to and agree to release the Instructor from liability according to these terms. Unless the Instructor notifies you otherwise, this waiver and release will apply to all sessions undertaken by you with the Instructor. You acknowledge that:

  • You are over 18 years of age
  • You understand that the sessions are a form of physical activity and that there are inherent risks in undertaking any form of physical exercise
  • You have disclosed, or will disclose to the Instructor prior to the session commencing, any pre-existing conditions that may place you at a higher risk of injury or inhibit your ability to participate, including but not limited to:
    • Injuries, pain, or recent surgery
    • Pregnancy or if you have recently given birth
    • Respiratory or heart conditions or high blood pressure
  • You will notify the Instructor if you experience any pain throughout the session and will immediately stop participating if requested by the Instructor to do so
  • Based on the information you provide, the Instructor may decide not to allow you to participate in a session, or may require you to provide a medical certificate affirming that you are able to participate, at the Instructor's sole discretion
  • Recommendations or instruction provided by the Instructor may not be tailored for your particular skill or ability level and it is your responsibility to assess whether you are able or want to participate in all or part of a session
  • You are solely responsible for ensuring that your physical environment is suitable for your participation in any session
  • Sessions may be recorded by the Instructor for quality control, as well as promotional purposes. If you do not consent to the Instructor using video or still images taken during the session for promotional purposes, please notify the Instructor in writing

To the extent permitted at law, you release and hold the Instructor (and where applicable its directors, employees, and representatives) harmless from any liability, cost, expense, damages, or claims (including claims of negligence) arising from or which may be suffered or incurred in connection with your participation in any sessions provided by the Instructor.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, videos, and branding — is the property of Pilates by Lena and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
